FAQ
Q. When is COVID-19 test available?
A. You can not make an appointment for COVID-19 test. However, when you visit the hospital in available time above, you can take the test as a walk-in patient.
Q. When can I receive test result?
If you visit in available time above, test result will come out around 9AM next day.(When retesting, the result will come out around 1PM.)
Q. What is the process for COVID-19 test?
A. First of all, please register at cashier to International Healthcare Center and go to the 2nd floor. There is a desk for COVID-19 test and medical certificate. Please wait after withdraw the waiting number at a machine. (Registration at any cashier → Desk for COVID-19 test and medical certificate on F2 → Withdraw a waiting number → Registration for test → test)
Q. How is the process for issuing the medical certificate?
A. Please visit the desk for COVID-19 test and medical certificate with passport on result date and withdraw the waiting number. Only patient oneself can receive it.
Q. Can someone receive the documents by proxy?
A. It’s impossible. Depending on Korean Medical law at Article 17, ONLY patient oneself can receive documents. Under 14 ages, please bring copy of legal guardian’s ID card and patient’s ID card. Even though you bring these copies, patient needs to visit.
Q. What kind of documents I bring to abroad?
A. We recommend it’s better to bring medical certificate and copy of test result. However, please ask to embassy for exact answer.
