Department of Rehabilitation Medicine

Rehabilitation medicine is a specialty that provides physical, psychological, social, occupational and educational treatment so that a patient who has a physical disability or environmental limitations can maximize his residual functions. Although prevention and treatment of pain and disabilities are the main area of rehabilitation medicine, the specialty is recently facing rapid and significant advancements and now deals with various fields such as electrodiagnosis, cranial nerve rehabilitation, spinal rehabilitation, sports medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation.
