Department of Urology
Urology diagnoses and treats diseases that occur in the male and female urinary system and reproductive system. While the urinary system is composed of the kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra where urine is produced and excreted, the reproductive system is composed of the testicles, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles and prostate, and since the systems are composed of various organs, the illnesses that occur in these systems are categorized in detail and urology can be categorized into subspecialties such as urologic oncology, pediatric urology, micturition disorder, male and female urology, and endourology that includes urolithiasis.
