Occupational & Environmental Medicine is a specialty that concentrates on preventing and detecting health-risking factors of the workplace and living environments in order to enhance the quality of life and labor productivity by maintaining and improving the health of workers and local residents. The Department of Occupational & Environment Medicine deals with preventive measures of health factors related to workplaces and environments for local residents, health checkups for follow ups, analysis of biological samples, measurement and assessment of workplace environments and a proxy for healthcare management works. The Department also deals with various health checkups and cancer prevention programs for the general population.
