The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine provides comprehensive management starting with pre-op evaluation, monitoring and care during surgery to ensure the patient’s life and safety, and post-op management for pain and recovery. The Department also provides diagnosis and treatment for pain related to cancer or other chronic and acute illnesses, education and management of CPR and management of critical patients with compromised cardiopulmonary functions. Our hospital uses anesthetics that provide for quick recovery and we are improving patient satisfaction through studies on pain, nausea and vomiting which are symptoms that occur after surgery. Meanwhile, we are also systemically cooperating with the Bloodless Center to enable bloodless surgery and we are focusing on pain management for various pain disorders and painless child delivery.
