Emergency Medical Center provides life-saving emergency medical treatment to diagnose abnormalities caused by acute disease or injury through rapid treatment and diagnosis, and recovers to normal or near state within the shortest time and improves the treatment effect of continuous surgery or rehabilitation.

Tell the emergency care center nurse the symptoms, and you will be taken to the emergency care area. Your doctor will give you emergency care and you will be discharged or hospitalized based on your results.


If you have been admitted to the hospital, receive hospitalization instructions from your doctor and go to the Emergency Medical Care Administration Department to complete the necessary procedure.


If you are notified of discharge, pay the medical expenses at the Emergency Care Administration Department and receive a receipt.
If you need to make an appointment for the next appointment, please consult the date of treatment and receive the appointment card when you receive the fee. Then, you will receive diagnosis at the specified date.
Those who have been prescribed a discharge medication in the hospital can take the payment receipt at the outpatient pharmacy during the day and at the ward pharmacy during the night and on holidays.

Emergency Medical Care Fee

Starting July 1, 2016, the “Emergency Medical Care Fee” will be applied to all patients who visit the emergency room.
Subject: All patients who come to the emergency room
Amount: 57,670 won (as of 2016)
Evidence: Notice of Emergency Medical Care Fee Standard pursuant to Article 54 of the Emergency Medical Care Act
Implementation: From 1 July 2016
The emergency medical care fee can be calculated for the first day only if first aid emergency medical care is provided to the emergency symptom patient.
However, if the symptom cannot correspond to the emergency symptom or equivalent, the emergency medical care fee shall be paid in full.

Addiction and metabolic disorders Severe dehydration, overdose or poisoning of drugs, alcohol or other substances, acute metabolic disorders (such as liver failure, kidney failure, diabetes, etc.)
Surgical emergency Acute abdominal pain requiring a laparotomy (only in severe cases such as acute peritonitis, intestinal obstruction and acute pancreatitis), extensive burns (18% or more of the external body surface area), penetrating wounds, open / multiple fractures or fractures of the femoral spine, or vascular injury that may require didmemberment, symptoms requiring emergency surgery under general anesthesia, multiple trauma
Bleeding Continued hemorrhage, hemostatic bleeding, acute gastrointestinal bleeding
Ophthalmic Emergency Symptoms Eye damage by chemicals, acute vision loss
